Building and Trees

Previous Home Next

This building is located next to that of one of our clients.  I have always been fascinated by the way the afternoon sun reflects off of the curved face.  I frequently return to this location to test new lenses and/or film since the fine lines between the windows make a perfect test target.

This is a great example of the capability of the 3D Matrix metering system in the Nikon.  This was the last exposure on the roll, so I had only this single frame based on the camera's choice of exposure.  The film shows considerable detail in the trees and foreground.  Unfortunately, that detail did not withstand the scanning process.
