Cambria Beach

Near the town of Cambria, on the Central Coast of California, we occasionally stop at this stretch of beach on our way to Carmel.  As we got out of the van, I noticed that the thin layer of clouds was producing a very soft quality of light.  I grabbed the Nikon and headed down to the beach.  Several images were made of the beach and the rock detail, but this image communicates the feeling the best.
