Morro View

This is one of my earliest images taken from Morro Rock in Sequoia National Park.  Several years after this image was taken, I found a very similar image that was made by Ansel Adams.  Of course, his was large format, black and white, but the composition is very close to this one.

I returned to this spot in the Spring of 2000 and could not find the tree!  I wanted to retake the image using the Hasselblad, but without the tree, I chose another location.
